Republican Legislator, Sen. Anderson, whining that He Can't Be Delegate at CRA Convention. (YouTube) Sen. Anderson "won't accept fraud"!? Legislators like Anderson ARE the fraud. The premise of the CRA is that their endorsements are legitimately grassroots conservative Republicans who hold legislators accountable and objectively choose who will be endorsed in GOP primaries. How can any endorsement be considered valid if the very candidates seeking endorsements are themselves delegates at endorsing conventions? Has this man no proper shame? How can any endorsements be considered valid when delegates are paid, hired legislative staff members and paid political campaign consultants? The CRA has been taken over, and run, by those in elected office, by their staff members and by paid political consultants. How ethical is it that the very people who are supposed to be seeking CRA endorsements are themselves arranging to be delegates at endorsement conventions? How shameful to not only do this, but to publicly whine that they have not been allowed to engage, openly, in this unethical behavior. Former CRA President, Mike Spence, apparently feels that this is the way it should be. So, unless the present board members do what is right and continue to seek appropriate changes in the bylaws this blatant good-ole-boys system will prevail. The CRA endorsements will be irrelevant and Californians learn that it is the capitol Republicans running the organization.. The CRA is fast losing credibility.
